&lt;p&gt;Saturday we went to Lydden Hill race track in Kent, with the INVO Auto team.&lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p&gt;It was the first outing on track of the CRX since we rebuilt it, and the first real stress test on the engine. We were happy to see that the chassis now very well balanced, and the car behaves in a very neutral/predictable way when pushed.
The engine felt stronger as we were racking up the mileage, and the sounds it was giving was a real crowd pleaser!
The new custom exhaust keeps the dB down whilst still allowing for plenty of flow. As it was the first track test, we've been able to see that cooling is still an area where we need to work, as after 5/6 laps the temperature where rising too much. The fan decided to have a mind of its own, which didn't help either!&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;We are going to work on the cooling over the next few days, and will try to get the car back on track as soon as possible.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;Thanks again to INVO Auto for introducing us to this new track (to us anyway).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As you know we sponsor Dixon Motorsport race DC2 in the Nippon challenge, so we have very good ties with the guys there. DMS works with DM Carbon, which is located on the same estate in the adjacent unit.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;I first saw their work when they resprayed the bumpers of an RX300 Lexus, but I've had good contact with the main man Robert over our few encounters.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;So when I told him I had a wide body APR Performance bodykit seating in our workshop, waiting to be fitted, he made it clear that I HAD to use him and he would take very good care of the car. This kit is the only one in Europe (as far as I know) and APR really went out of their way to get it shipped to us in 1 piece last summer.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;I spoke to Robert a couple more time about it, agreed on a paint, and there it was. The APR Performance wide body was going to go on!&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;So one Saturday about a 3 weeks ago  he turned up with a platform truck at our unit in Guildford. He charged the kit and the car, and of he went. I never like to see my personal car being driven away from me but the excitement or finally getting that kit sorted was too intense to think about it.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;Robert kept me informed at every step, and Dixon made sure to document the build on numerous forums. I had the job to now find a set of wheels, and for that I spoke to Julian at &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.rarerims.co.uk&quot; hreflang=&quot;en&quot;&gt;Rarerims&lt;/a&gt;. He recommended me a few sets, and I decided to go for the most conservative one. Once on the car (we realised that it just didn't suit it properly, so we have now ordered a replacement set which will for sure be impressive.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;anyway, this is only a blog post so I wont add all the pics in here. In a few days we will have a new section on the website with the full build, so make sure you come back to check  it out.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description>    &lt;p&gt;Today Romain remapped a Mazda RX-8 Turbo.
The customer came because his car was juddering, and just not as smooth as it could be.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;It wasn't the first time he came down to see us, but we had to get some special hardware from Australia to be able to reuse his ECU.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;On the power front, it was running  255whp at 7psi, and 275 whp at 10 psi. This was checked before our remap.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;After remapping it , the power was up by quite a lot. The car now runs 281 whp at 7 psi, and a meaty 310 whp at 10 psi. That 365 bhp&amp;nbsp;!&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;Luckily our customer wasn't too busy grinning for telling Romain that the drive was way smoother than when he first came down.&lt;/p&gt;

After month of wait the boys at Hondata have done it again. They have released an OBD-2 based tool which allows us to remap the latest Honda Civic Type-R JDM FD2 and EUDM FN2.&lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p&gt;One of our customer came down with his FD2 and asked us to remap it, seeing if we could extract a bit more out of his already very potent FD2.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;The number weren't too bad despite the high temperature on that day. But what made a real difference was in the part throttle mapping, which dictates how smooth can the car be driven.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;He is very happy with the FlashPro, and was glad to have gone to it after having tried the Tracy Sport ECU and the Hondata Reflash ECU. Furthermore the FlashPro now opens the door to further mapping, whilst keeping the original drive by wire and the dash, which other full remap solution cannot support.&lt;/p&gt;

Few pictures of a very successful day for the DMS Racing car, driven superbly by Dixon Cheng, remapped by ARTech Tuning.    &lt;p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dixon likes the rain. And Silverstone stays very wet. The team had tuned the car to take the weather into account. It paid off as we were 3s faster than the next car of our category in Qualifying. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Race 1 and 2 were both victories. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Another very good day for Dixon.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description>&lt;p&gt;You remember Andrew's car from February? He came to us for a remap after having installed his turbo kit. Now he has ditched his XS Power turbo and changed it for a real Garrett T3/T4... he's up 37bhp :)

To cut a long story short, Andrew had a real Garrett T3/T4 just rebuilt and the XS Power was there only to fill the gap.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;After a new remap, again on eCtune, the car made impressive numbers. But what really matters is how smooth the car is to drive. It's smoother than a standard DC2 in town, and when you need the power the Turbo responds pretty quickly. I drove it and I loved it!&lt;/p&gt;
