Engine tuning

We offer a scale of tuning services for many engines.

Custom mapping

Custom mapping involves using a programmable ECU, or modifying an ECU so it can be reprogrammable. The tuner will then use his knowledge and experience to come up with the best setup for a specific car. This type of mapping maximises the car ability.

To date we have remapped all sorts of modified Honda engines (B,K,H,F series) as this was our primary business. Lately we have started to work on rotary engine too (Mazda RX8 NA and Turbo).

We use and recommand the right ECU for the job. Not anyone needs a full race ECU such as an AEM EMS, but if need be we can provide this service. Our daily drive demo S2000 runs on a fully programmable ECU.

ECU Flashing

Many unmodified cars can benefit from a remap, however they do not require a costly new ECU, nor do they need to be fully remapped on a dyno.

For these cases, companies have developped special devices which allow a tuner to upload a ready made "maps" into the standard car's ECU. Many companies offer these services, however their maps aren't always up to scratch.

ARTech Tuning has ties with one of the leader in ECU Flashing in UK, "Evolve Automotive". Evolve has been praised many time the press, for the quality of their work as well as for being the first one to offer this service on the new generation BMW M3 / 335d / 335i.

We can provide customers in Surrey and South London with the same maps and service as Evolve, without having them to go all the way to Luton.

This is a new side of our business that we are developping, and we are very proud to have been able to work with Evolve.

On special request we can offer fully inclusive service, where we pick up the car, remap it, take it on the dyno if required, and drop it back to the customers' place.

The maps we have are some of the best for BMW, Range Rover, AMG, and Smart cars (to list a few).

Engine building

Racing is what we enjoy. We develop engine packages on request, and have a few race cars running them in France.

This is quite a secretive trade, and our customer usually do not want to reveal what's inside their engine.

Engine swap

We offer a drive-in service for engine swaps on Honda. We can source low mileage engines, engine mount kit, driveshafts, etc. and carry all the modification work required.

Chassis preparation

We can carry all suspension work. As a T1R dealer we can carry the fitting of all their range of products. We can work with our customers to recommand them the right parts for their usage, being fast road, track, or full racing.

General mechanic, part fitting

With our ramp (specially chosen to raise lowered and bodykitted cars ), we can carry most mechanical work on race/sport cars.
